Is it possible to use hot (L) wire in SW1 or SX

I have a similar issue here. I tried to wire one switch through SX and the other through L and it acted quite erratically. Should I have wired both through L or N to make it act sane?

Shelly 1L inputs (SW) may be activated either with Sx potential or with O potential! N potential may be used (if it exists), but gives a significant raise of temperature in the Shelly if used with switches. Push button switching against neutral is o.k.
