Hi everyone,
I'm trying to use the SW input on the Shelly Plus1 to detect when my bathroom LED lights are on, with the goal of controlling an extractor fan based on this. However, when I connect the SW input to the light's live wire, the LEDs glow faintly, when the switch is off. It seems like there's some current flow from the SW "input".
Has anyone successfully used the SW input for this kind very common application? Are there specific configurations or additional components I should consider to prevent the LEDs from glowing or to better isolate the SW input?
Any guidance or alternative suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
