  • New at this:

I have installed shelly 1 plus into my gate opener and is fully operational on the app.

    Problem:

The app input display setting doesn't change state via the reed switch to indicate the state of the gate by the color code, it always stays red regardless of gate position.

    Setup as follows:

    • Using SW thru reed switch to L(-) at 24 volts DC.
    • Unit powered at 24 VDC
    • Using device as hidden not in a room or scene
    • Have tested the reed switch and tried manual operation to simulate reed opening and closing
    • Auto off 1.0 sec
    • Input state identifier to the power button is on
    • Input/Output Settings set to button
    • Relay type set to Detached
    • Configured to turn off when it has power.

Appreciate any help in determining a solution to problem.

  • Input/Output Settings set to button

    Set to „switch“, please!

  • I have a new problem with my Shelly 1 plus using the reed switch to show gate status. Shelly works well when operating using Shelly to open and close with proper status indication but when activating the gate from the gate keypad, the gate opens but is interrupted when the reed switch opens. The opening or closing of the reed switch actually activates the relay closure of I and o. I am a beginner and any help is appreciated to solve this. Thanks.

  • Set the input characteristics of the Shelly plus 1 to „detached“!
