Reset Shelby 1 without SW contact wired

Good morning,

I want to use Shelby 1 as a simple 230V on/off switch.

So, I wired the device without connecting anything to SW (there is no other/existing switch...)

Is this OK?

When I connected Shelby to the grid for the first time, I could see the Wifi AP on my phone. I tried to connect with the app, but that did not work properly. Now, when I connect Shelby again to the grid (after disconnecting), I do not see the Wifi on my phone.

I presume I need to reset and try again?

How do I reset without SW connected?

1.) That's ok.

2.) pressing reset-button für more than 10 secondes.

@66er Unfortunately Shelly 1 does not have a reset button. ?

To reset Shelly 1 you have to connect a switch to SW when it is no longer accessible.

There is still the possibility of a soft reset, by fuse 5x on and off. Shelly 1 then goes into AP mode for 3min where changes can be made.
