Hi
I can't connect to my new Shelby RGBW2 using the app after initial setup. The initial setup was able to find the unit, configure Wifi and I have verified that it is indeed connected to my Wifi. I was able to access the unit's website without a problem, but the app itself can't find the Shelby. From my research, this seems to stem from the fact that the firmware is really old. I see the following under Firmware update:
The current Firmware version of your Shelly device is 20190822-083406/master@4148d2b7 No newer firmware available.
The next step I took to update the firmware was to go to the website: http://archive.shelly-tools.de/, enter my IP, pick the correct device and pick the latest firmware I could find (ie: v1.14.0), generated the link, copied into my browser and that seemed to do something however the website never updated the status. It kept reading:
status: "updating"
has_update: false
new_version: ""
old_version: "20190822-083406/master@4148d2b7"
I can see that the device rebooted since the links that are connected to it went off shortly and come back on. Past that; the device seems to blink 5 times and then the light goes off for a second and the process restarts (possibly a reboot?)
How can I update the firmware to get access to the app & other functionality? Am I doing anything wrong in the steps above?
