  • Hello,

first message here, have chatted some on home assistant forum but decided to come here since this is clearly a Shelly problem.

I upgraded Home Assistant yesterday and lost connection to a few Shelly devices. Turned out it was because the Shellys were on 0.14.1. I had two 1 Plus devices and one 1 Plus PM. The two 1 Plus I connected to the internet and updated, worked fine, new firmware found and update complete. Readded them to home assistant and everything working fine with them. Then I tried to update my 1 Plus PM, but it doesn't find any new firmware, it just says like this:

    Code
You are using 0.14.1 (latest) version of the firmware. Check again.

Is there anyway to force the OTA firmware? Or what should I do?

  • Welcome to the forum!

The two 1 Plus I connected to the internet and updated, worked fine,

So you have blocked Internet Connection for Shelly devices?

Did you reboot your Plus 1PM?

Did you use static IP addresses?

If yes, is the gateway and Dns server set?

  • I have done soft reboot for the Plus 1PM, used similar static IP adress, and put DNS server. All same settings as in the Plus 1, only different IP address. I'm an IT-technician. Yes, normally I have blocked internet to them, I have them in their own VLAN and routed the traffic to Home Assistant. When I need to update them I connect wifi2 to a connection that has internet and turn off wifi1. And as said, I did the all same to the first two that worked fine. I still have to go and physically try to reboot, need to plow some snow first. The Plus 1PM is located in an outbuilding that I currently can't access. It's inside and in a warm enclosure.
