Unfortunately it seems the change log in the API-Reference you linked to has not received any updates for a while. For example, my Shelly TRVs currently runs v2.2.1 and wants to update to 2.2.2, while the latest documented version in the changelog is still v1.14...

Yes because TRV and Motion 2 are seperated devices with other Processing Unit. So there isn‘t any official changelog for those devices. Like I said this is list for Gen1 devices and those devices are more like an Gen1.5 or so 🤣🤣

The reasons you mentioned only explain why changes in the firmware of these devices are not documented in neither the gen1 nor the gen2 change log, but question why these changes are not published in any official channel still stands.

Currently users have to either wait for others to find changes and write about them here or elsewhere or run tests themself to make sure a firmware update is compatible with the local setup and does not lead to regressions, both is not ideal.

I'm sure Shelly keeps track of changes between versions internally and there is no good reason to keep this information from their customers.
