Planning to connect a Shelly Plus 1 / Add-on to Paradox PGM output to get info on alarms, arming state etc. As it seems that the PGM is not a potential free relay, I can't use the digital inputs on Shelly Add-on. What would be the best way to get the states from PGM to Shelly?

PGM1/PGM2 = 100mA low-current output (each PGM).

Here's the wiring diagram (PG1 / PG2):

Obviously, the Paradox system switches its PGM1/2 outputs versus GND:

Thus, a Shelly UNI could do the job as pictured above. But you should verify by a measuring of the resistance between pin PG1 and AUX- and/or GND whether my assumption is correct: You should read at the DMM nearly zero ohms, if PG1 or PG2 is activated.

Both resistors in the above sketch should have 470Ω to 1kΩ.

Yes, indeed - this is achievable with a Shelly add-on “plus” and an appropriate Shelly of the “plus”-series! Better more: With the add-on you may omit the pull-up resistors!

wow... i need an easy way to undestand how to make PGM in MEGALLAN board... visible to shelly cloud

i did't understand the use of shelly UNI...

where to connect Shelly UNI to?

i assume it can be done with Shelly Plus i4 DC, to read actuation of 4 PGM's from the alarm board, and make an action on other Shelly device.

but i need need help/ guidance to make it happen.
