No output voltage

I have wired up a new Plus1according to the Fig 2 in the user manual, with a 12vDC input going to 12v, and GND going to both SW and GND on the Shelly. I can control it via the app over wifi etc, and the relay "clicks" in the usual manner.

BUT, putting a multimeter across the 0 & 1 outputs no 12vDC output happens, and I can't work out why. _Sometimes_ a _very_ brief and _very_ small voltage is detected when I activate the app, but I think that this may just be "noise".

I have tried changing the Settings / Input Output / Relay Type etc, but no combinations cause the multimeter to register an output voltage.
