    I have installed 4 shelly 1 devices as a trial run got everything set up and so far I'm impressed however 1 device allows me to add to the app but not assign to a room.

    I can even switch on and off from the app so the shelly is working but when I try add to room I get "error could not get device info connection to device lost.

    wifi signal shouldn't be the issue as I have another shelly 1 installed in the same location.

    have made several resets but always the same issue.

    I've never heard of such a problem.

    You could try clearing the app's cache and data, and then restart the app.

Nur mit App und WebUI mit Cloudverbindung. Sprachsteuerung mit Alexa:) Seit Anfang 2024 ist HomeAssistant mit am Start. Was Shelly Cloud nicht kann, bzw. Lokal gesteuert werden soll, übernimmt da übergeordnete System.

    I'm new to this and i just got my first shelly, a Shelly plug S.

    With much effort i maneged to add new device. It worked as far as to turn it on/off via app. But I can't add it to a room. I get same error message as described above.

    I tried clearing cache and app data. Didn't help.

    Any other solution to this?

    does the Shelly have internet access? Easy to see when you call up the Shelly's WebUi and a time can be seen in the top right corner.
