Shelly relay to control 12v breaker switches

    I am in a boat and the switches are breaker type switches with fuse protection.

    Is it possible to connect a shelly relay to control this type of switch and not lose the fuse current protection that the breaker switch provides.

    To your issue: Due to the fact the breaker switches are controlled manually (on/off lever), it seems impossible to manipulate the switch by a Shelly actor directly. You’ll have to connect a Shelly between breaker switch and load. Rating of load current must not stress the relay contact(s) of the Shelly!
