Issues with AP Wifi Network discovery

  • I'm reading the instructions

    https://shelly.cloud/documents/user…_plus_1_app.pdf

    And it says:

    Zitat

WARNING! In case the device has not created its own AP Wi-Fi network with SSID like ShellyPlus1-f008d1d8bd68, please check if the device is connected according to the Installation Instructions. If you still do not see an active Wi-Fi network with SSID like ShellyPlus1-f008d1d8bd68, or you want to add the device to another Wi-Fi network, reset the device. If the device has been powered on, you have to restart it by powering it off and then again on. After that you have one minute to press 5 consecutive times the button/switch connected to the SW terminal. You should hear the relay trigger itself. After the trigger sound, Shelly Plus 1 will return to AP mode. If not, please repeat or contact our customer support at support@shelly.cloud .

The thing here is that I'm using Shelly 1 Plus for multiple dry contact devices, so I'm not connecting anything to SW, just I-O and L-N this way:

But I power off and on the devices and I can't see the AP.

I've put a multimeter in the white and red cables (connected to AC, by the way regardless of the color code), and they show the 220V, so Shelly is receiving power.

What shall I do if I don't use the SW switch to see the AP?

PS: Bluetooth is not shown either when trying to pair via Android Shelly app.

  • Welcome to the forum!

To your issue: The Shelly plus 1 has a tiny pushbutton at its back: Please press it for more than 10 seconds and release. After that, the Shelly has made a reset to its default state and should open the specific AP.
