Advice on connecting a Shelly 1

Hello,

I have a Shelly 1 that I will program with a schedule in the Shelly app.

So I will not control Shelly 1 with a physical switch, but the app will turn on a light and turn off a light with a fixed schedule.

My question:

Can I use the instructions in the video below and just change not to connect anything to the SW input on my Shelly 1?
