    If I understand this

    Shelly Button

    correctly, a Shelly Dimmer2 would not fit mechanically in the Button case. Thus, an issue for electrical connection would be obsolete.

    Obviously, the mechanical issue is not very severe, cause a diagram for installation of a Shelly Dimmer2 exists:
