    i notice that the shelly1pm is getting warmer when turned on. not much because i have a small load.

    However i see people complaining that it is getting hot when a high load is switched, why is that?

    if it was using some kind of semiconductor it would make sense but the 1pm is using a relay and that one has very low resistance

    Aha. now it makes sense. lucky for me the load is max 20 watts(8 watt most of the time)
