I have bought a Shelly Plus 1 for switching a light with 4 GU10 LED bulbs. I have no wall switch so I use the app only to turn on the light.
Unfortunately the light is too bright. So I think a Shelly Dimmer (2) is the solution for this. I understand the LEDs must be dimmable and the four LEDs should be 10W minimum. I don’t know if I can use a Dimmer without a wall switch/dimmer.
FYI: I have a Live and Neutral wire.
Same problem. Had some power issues here in my house, caused by a problem in my garden. Since then both Shelly 2.5 devices make the described sound and loose connection. Reconnecting with power will result in a short period of time that I can connect the AP, bit after gew minutes connection is lost again.
Quality is somewhat disappointing
