Hi,
I have only 2 moths ago started using Shelly products in combination with Home Asistant. I started off with two Shelly Duo and a Shelly 1L, Now I have almost all lights as Duo or RGBW and a few other Shelly devices. I was really happy to see how easy the integration with HA works. I was aiming to use only devices and integrations that do not require a cloud base service, I dislike the idea of "sharing" my life with a corporation. So far I only have WiFi issues with the Motion 2 but otherwise I am happy. One suggestion I would have to Shelly, go away from those aweful spring type screw terminals used on the Shelly relays, they are bad to work with. A propper cage type terminal would be much better. If it makes the product a euro more expensive, fine by me.
About me, I am German living in Ireland for the last 20 years, rarely ever speak german and never write german so I am better off in the English section here. I work as Network Engineer for an ISP at the south-west coast of County Cork.

Great stuff, IDK why that option did not jump at me when I signed up. I have it now set correct. My German is pretty rusty in writing at least

Es scheint kein English sprachiges forum zu geben, die Shelly website hat als "Community" einen link zu Facebook was ich wirklich nicht gut finde.

Mein edit scheint nicht zu functionieren, ich hatte geschrieben das es mich nicht stoert wenn die batterie anstelle von einem Jahr nur einen Monat haelt.

ich habe 2 Motion 2 im Haus, beide etwa 5m - 6m vom WiFi AP entfernt. Signal level auf beiden -65dBm und -74dBm. Auf dem WiFi AP sehe ich -79dBm bis -87dBm wenn sie connected sind. Ist das normales zu erwartendes verhalten bei der entfernung durch eine Holzstaender wand ? Um mal zu testen of das am schlafmodu liegt habe ich einen cron job auf einem server gestarted der alle 2 minuten die /psovrd URL aufruft um den schalmodus fuer 180sec zu verhindern, seit dem gib es keine disconnects mehr. Gib es eine andere loesung, kann man irgendwie die TX leistung im schlaf modus einstellen damit die connection nicht verloren geht ?
