Thank you! Google translate is my friend, so this thread (and the ones linked in it) was what I was looking for. I will try to not take more of your time on private messages until I test what you have suggested.
Will see what resistors I have around my local shops and what I can do with them. I will also consider if it is not better to remove the whole IR sensor, since the safety implications are too much for a switch that I will rarely use.

Hello,
Thank you both for the help.
The sensor is working without the Shelly, I have used it but wanted to make it 'smart' too, thus the Shelly.
I have tried to remove the green wire but the situation remains the same.
I'll buy some resistors and try out, any suggestion on how to calculate the proper resistance? Also, could using the external resistor have any safety implications or I do not have to worry? -
Hello,
Sorry for the late reply. I have drawn an ugly sketch of my wiring, I believe everything is right (I have used Shelly1 before with standard switches).
I have tried every combination of Button Type and settings on the Shelly, but the switch is always doing nothing. I can hear the sensor click, so it has power and it is working, just the Shelly doesn't respond to it. The problem I believe is that the 'Out' of the sensor constantly has voltage, and when it is activated, it pumps it to 220V. Does the shelly require SW to have 0V when not activated?
P.S. The green 'N' wire is most likely not needed, but I've still wired it.Der Inhalt kann nicht angezeigt werden, da Sie keine Berechtigung haben, diesen Inhalt zu sehen. -
Hello,
I am trying to put a Shelly1 between a light and a "Short distance IR sensor" which is working as a switch. I have done the wiring correctly, but the light only works when started from the Shelly, the switch does not start it. I guess there is a need for a resistor/relay between the SW and the sensor, but not sure what exactly. Any help is appreciated if someone had similar problem.
The sensor is one like this:Externer Inhalt vezalux.nlInhalte von externen Seiten werden ohne Ihre Zustimmung nicht automatisch geladen und angezeigt.
