Good evening Shelly team.

Thank you!!!
Thanks for the data!
Issue is the CV power supply, which is not dimmable:
Der Inhalt kann nicht angezeigt werden, da Sie keine Berechtigung haben, diesen Inhalt zu sehen. Even a Shelly RGBW2, which is working at the secondary (low voltage) side of the power supply doesn’t help: Obviously, the strip consumes too much power and would overload the RGBW2. Sorry…
The shelly bypass component that can be used?
Also, now I notice that in my application it shows that it is offline. I've reset it I'm trying to reconnect it to the cloud and nothing changes…
Would you please give us type and manufacturer of the LED strip and the power supply?
-Cubalux Led Strip 14.4kWh/1000h/m 12V dc - PWM Dimmable!!!
-Cubalux Constant Voltage Power Supply 200watt / 12volt
Hey Shelly guys!!!
I connect the Shelly dimmer 2 with dimmable led tape and the lighting does not dimming . It flashes when the brightness reaches below 50% and the relay sounds loudly until it appears in the application that the device has raised temperatures and must be switched off!!!
This TP Link router supports 2.4GHz wifi with up to 300 Mbps.
This is enough for the Shelly device communication.
The devices can also be connected to this primary WLAN.
The guest WLAN is only meant to provide it to guests temporarily. This special WLAN only communicates externally with the internet, but not with the local devices like the Shellies.
I therefore recommend NOT to configure the Shellie's into the guest WLAN!
Perfect. I will link it this way. Thanks again for all the useful information!!!
I'm glad to hear that.👍
You are mixing up the frequencies. So far, the Shelly devices transmit on 2.4 GHz (lower WLAN band).
A 4G or 5G router stands for the 4th/5th mobile radio generation (LTE,...).
These mobile routers can of course also offer WLAN on 2.4 and 5GHz (in the home network). Thus Shelly devices also work with 4G routers.
This is the router…https://www.tp-link.com/uk/home-networ…tl-mr6400/v5.2/. I think it works olny on 4G freq. But it has a guest wlan o 2,4G.So,I have to connect it to the guest network???
Alles anzeigenHi soilime,
first identify the IP from your Shelly 1.
In the App - settings - device info - device ip
All available http commands you find in the lexicon here:
https://shelly-forum.com/lexikon/index.…quest-shelly-1/
This commands you can configure on the button 1.
Try first a simple command e.g. toggle the light
Replace 192.168.xxx.xxx with your IP from your Shelly 1
Succeeded!!!!!!! With a short press, the communication of the two devices. Thank you so much for your help!!!
And one last thing... All the Shelly devices I know work with a wifi frequency of 2.4G and “NOT” 5G. Do you know if they work on 4G frequency? I am asking because I want to connect to the house of one of my clients who has a 4G router that works with a SIM card!!!
Here is an example from my device.
With a short press I switch 2 lights in parallel.
However, as I said before, you only have a short time window for the settings after waking up.Der Inhalt kann nicht angezeigt werden, da Sie keine Berechtigung haben, diesen Inhalt zu sehen.
I have not understood what URL addresses I should fill in the fields. Do I need to complete them in the actions of the button as well as in Shelly 1? What data do I put in it???
I'll have a look at the instructions and try to hook it up. Thank you very much for the help and sorry for my continuous questions but I have connected all my Shelly's with success and with the button I can't get an edge!!!
Alles anzeigenThe button 1 ist the http-transmitter for the Shelly 1 or other Shelly devices (receiver).
You can configure the button 1 with multiple options e.g.
- short click (turn device 1 on/off)
- double click (turn device 2 on/off)
- triple click (turn roller shutter open/close)
- longpush (turn all devices off)
To configure the Shelly battery powered devices (button 1), you have a short timeframe of 3min. to configure this after wake up.
Is there any step-by-step information on connecting devices between them or any video with instructions???
You have to be more specific what you want to do but here are the possible action urls
I have to add the URL addresses to the action of the button or to shelly 1? I can't do this and it doesn't work for me. Also, pressing the button, flashes white for a few seconds and then stabilizes green for a while and turns off again!!!
Good evening Shelly team.
I would like to tell me some information to connect the Shelly Button with Shelly 1 because I don’t understand the set up connectivity with Actions and URLs!!!
Thank you!!!
