A cut-off due to exceeding the power limit should not shut down the Shelly totally. The device should be operating but with open contact.
Last question; Will "operating with open contact" be status also when I via shelly cloud has clicked off or it is in off state due to schedule? Thank you for perfect help so far.

As Shelly Plug S should work even one phase suddenly is down giving about 140v I begin thinking of my setting for max w. I don't remember exactly, but I normally set max power 200w higher than the oven / heaters max consum. This because I years ago discovered that one heater used more than it should. Happily Shelly reported this and saved me for possible overload and fire.
If the case is that the Shelly Plug S har cut off because the power max load has been set to low (when suddenly power cut off), is it possible to restart them without being on place?

I have of course tried to reach the Plug S through my online connection. And the mentioned ealier failure killed the Shelly Plug S totally. There was no way to get them alive again, even I tried everything onplace. I think it is the same now, but can't check it out now.
I hope it is possible to trust Shelly units, but if I need to fix things on place I must search for alternatives. Sorry to say, I have 20-30 Shelly units.
1. I need to hear from Shelly (or forum) if my problem is a common one.
2. Has Shelly Plug S been tested when one phase on 3 phase power 230v drops out, meaning should the plug tolerate 2/3 of 230v?
3. Further on pkt. 2, should I install an contactor rele in the fuse-box before everything?

I have a smart home with Shelly Plug S in front of all the heaters, but my 2 Shelly Plug S died at the same time at 00:15 26.1.24 at the same time as the power went out according to notification from my alarm company Verisure (which gives immediate notification).
I have lost several other Shelly Plug S in recent years without finding a cause, but now I am 100% sure that the power outage has something to do with it. The power came back 5 hours later and everything else works - also some other Shelly Plug S. All my Shelly Plug S are used in front of ovens with 1000-2000w on 230w. Another unit, Shelly Pro 1 PM tells me that voltage is 238,9v.
I have been in contact with an electrician who is wondering if the power plant has had a phase failure (I have 3-phase with 230v), but I find it strange that it can kill the plugs. They recommend installing a relay and contactor. The fuse box and fuses are brand new.
There has been no thunderstorm, but a lot of wind and the power outage probably has something to do with it.
Can't Shelly Plug S handle lower voltage than 230v +/- 10%? Are they dead then, or can they be restarted? Can I restart them via OpenVPN-connection (as I am situated 300 km away)?

After hours with several tries, I need help.
Starting with reset to fabric setup, next using ipad with the new cloud app (and with wifi to my nearest router) I add the new unit.
Everything went smooth incl. new name, picture and room. No failure, but next window in the app is the unit with pending connection - with only 5 choices avaliable (Temperatur - no data, Activity log - no data, Applications settings - nothing, Share - nothing and Device information - Device id (OK), Decimal id (OK), Device IP - cound not load data, Device Type - Shelly H&T, Device Network - Couldnt load data, Device signal - Disconnected.
I have tried to activate the unit (blinking slowly) with no result.
I have checked my wifi - same as before.
The only thing I can point at is that the picture of the shelly H&T is white, but my unit is black. No black found.
Please help me.

I updated several Shelly Plug S last evening - and everything went OK, but today several of them began "Safety" cut off. At least two of them connected to ovens with 800w and 1000w suddenly displayed real time 900-950w and 1250-1330w. Pic from the 1000w oven.
I checked further with a Tibber Pulse which show power consume in the fusebox and there the consume was as earlier 780-790w resp. 970-990w.
Something happen with the Shelly Plug S after the update.
Is it possible to revert to older update - or can the last update be fixed very soon as this disturb everything in my smart houses?

May be How to connect to a 3 phase network without neutral #20 is what I should use?
Phase 1 to terminal VA, current clamp A
Phase 2 to terminal VB, current clamp B
Phase 3 to terminal N
Terminal VC open, current clamp C empty.
Supply voltage is 230V AC between two phases.

Thanks thgoebel - in this rainy afternoon.
I live in Norway and we have not "N", but use two phases to get 230 volt. I found a connection diagram with 2 phases, but as I think my electrician to have connected all 3 phases in the main switch - each to random one phase fuses, I suppose we should connect the 3EM to exact the same phases (fuses).
My question was also if I must buy 3 phase fuses. But possibly NO as you didn't reply to that.

Can Shelly 3EM be used in my setting: Main switch/fuse is 3phase, but all other fuses are one phase where the goal is total consumption measurement?
Do I have to buy and replace 3 of my one phase fuses with 3phase fuses to have 3EM to give me total consumtion?
I have tried to read everything about this matter, but can't find simular case.

The case is very important for us who pay electricity per hour. Therefore I use schedule to switch on / off ovens when the hourly price makes it desirable. But I discover in the cloud app (and when downloading) that I do not get the same hourly measurement as I pay for. Example: Schedule start 06:00 or 06:30 (and stop 07:00) appears in the cloud app as start 05:30. If I download, I get time 06:00, 07:00 etc., but don't know if 06:00 gives me consumption for 05:30-06:30 or 06:00-07:00. Data for 05:30-06:30 is useless for me and all others who want to save electricity and money when we pay for 06:00-07:00.
But is the case that the measurement is correct and Shelly Cloud shows errors, I would like to know.

Can anybody help me? I want to switch a Shelly Pro 1PM on/off when the temperature is below 28 or above 31 C in a Shelly 1PM temp.addon. (If it not already is on respectively off).
If it is possible via http, what is the syntax and preferably the entire command string?

My case is AP on a Shelly Pro 1 used by a Shelly 1PM with temp.add. The ordinary wifi from my router to my pool's service room is too weak and I have therefore set up the Shelly 1PM with the ordinary wifi on Wifi 1 and Wifi 2 with wifi from the AP.
But, I get offline in Shelly Cloud APP when Wifi 1 is too bad. How to connect when wifi 2 (the access point's wifi) is used?

It is fine to configure the plug as AP, but I am not sure if I will then lose the usual use - power management.
I can get in touch with 192.168.33.1 in my browser, but how do I get it in the app? (in the same room)
In the english forum they say:
The original line of devices don't function simultaneously as client & AP.
Is that the fact - and the plug can't be both AP and handle power measurment?

My Shelly Pro 1 is connected to LAN and I have set it's AP on to get wifi for a Shelly 1PM with Temp.Addon.
Will the Ap still be working if the power on Shelly Pro 1 is Off?
Will the Ap still be working if I cut of all power to the Shelly Pro 1? Not only power on/off, but in the fuse box.

My Shelly Pro 1 and Shelly Pro 1PM now works fine. Thank you very much thgoebel for patience and help.
I have now bought several other shelly units and here is what I experienced:
Adding device worked best with ipad/iphone, not on adroid.
Thereafter setting fixed ip, best on the computer (troubling on ipad/iphone and android)
Rest of the setting I liked to do on the computer.
One simple question remains from me, how to get rid of asking for Groups and Scenes. It take place on the screen (ipad and adroid).
