Hallo,
Fantastic, but as eiche said, to expensive (Pro unit and electrician) for this simple connection.
But, very much thanks to you for full introduction to Shelly Pro AP setup. I may need this later.
Just now many have told me to try another (not Shelly) cheap AP unit. Several say that this will work as good as a Shelly Pro AP, but I am a little unsure if shelly cloud (via Wan) can find the Shelly 1PM.
(I have several Shelly Pro units there, but they are only in use in the summer and the Shelly 1PM with temp. must also work the rest of the year.)
May I write in german?
If you need the measurements on the fly, you may use the internal Access Point of a Shelly 1 PM generation 2+.
But if you want to store the measurents values, I may have a solution for you, based on a script. This script stores many values into its non volatile storage and you may take it to your home for reading this values. Alternatively you may use a MQTT transfer over your smartphones hotspot without replacing the Shelly, if you use a MQTT subscriber at home.
Btw, my solution via script may be used with a smartphone directly reading the stored values. I've created this script for using MQTT, but it may be used without MQTT.
If you are interested in my solution: https://iotig.eichelsdoerfer.net/index.php/loes…r-shelly-script
Thank you. You mention Shelly 1PM gen 2+. Has this unit connecton to ethernet? And I am not looking for an AP in the Shelly 1PM but how to give the unit wifi connection. History values is the question,. but thanks, now I know it's possible.
