  • Group not being saved?

    This has happened a couple of times now where I create and successfully saved (according to an on screen prompt) a group yet it doesn't appear in the groups list. I recall setting up a group a while back and it saved etc. didn't appear in the group list then the following day it appeared!
    Today I have set up another group now waited over 30 minutes and it still doesn't appear? The group has 2 Shelly loads......for the life of me I can not see any reason why it doesn't appear in the group listing?

    Sorted. It was a matter of understanding the hierarchy all good once I understood that. Learning curve...

  • Is there any requirement to have a load?

    Have a 2.5 which has a spare switch/load. I would like to use that side just as trigger to control a group, that is no load connected just the switch input to be used as trigger.

    Just checking that 2.5 doesn’t require to see a load for it to accept a switch command and trigger a group. Effectively using that side as a dummy load. I can not see an issue but acquiesce to those more experienced with 2.5 shelly’s.

  • Getting 2.5 operating temperatures?

    It would be nice if Shelly included operating temperatures in the Shelly 2.5. Given most these device live in confined spaces behind light switches and or power points it would be nice to be able to read the current temperature from the Shelly app and not have to go through the complication of setting up an MQTT broker. Wouldn't be looking to read temperatures continuously as this would create way to much traffic. Maybe daily low and high temps and the ability via the Shelly app to read temperature now selection.

    Anyone else here of a similar mind?
