thank you for reply and confirmation does it matter which way the connections are made , is it the red and black leads on the low voltage side and the 2 black leads on the neutral mains side ?

hi could someone explain what the device is that is connected between the switch on the AC side and the RGBW2 on the DC side . Is it an opto isolater and receiver /relay . Please also confirm the wiring as per the shelly diagram ? Is the AC switch just trigering the DC side ?
