I have a 16A circuit breaker and I will have Shelly 1PM Plus configured to be "on" after power applied and I also have that doubt about if I should use the wago clamp to have only one cable feeding the Shelly; that could be an option but has thgoebel said I also believe the 3 L terminals work the same way.
"For inductive appliances, those that cause voltage spikes during switching on: electrical motors, as fans, vacuum cleaners and similar ones, RC snubber (0.1µF / 100Ω / 1/2W / 600V AC) should be wired between Output and Neutral of the circuit."
Should be more explicit but I believe this also applies to fluorescent tubes....is this also a solution to avoid any more damage Shellys Plus 1PM?
The defective component is the first step-down converter, regulating mains voltage to 12V DC. The IC is named BP2522. Unfortunately, data sheet is in Chinese language only…
Addendum: Possibly, the defective Shelly plus1PM is still working with 12V DC supply!?
Can you please guide me on what to buy and how to connect the inrush current limiter to the Shelly Plus 1PM?
Nevertheless, I think that If Shelly 1 PM Plus has this kind of problems when connected to a fluorescent tube circuit, Shelly should advise not to do that in the technical specifications and on the manual.
First you have to turn the supply voltage (L/N) off for a few seconds.
Once power is back on on L/N terminals, you have to switch the voltage to SW 5 times on and off, during 1st minute after repowering the Shelly.
If the reset was successful, you should able to see the WIFI of the Shelly again.
After connection to Shellies WIFI, you should be able to do initial configuration again by typing Shellies factory default IP address into addressline of your Internetbrowser (192.168.33.1) and hitting Enter.
I have done that but I do not listen to any noise on relay, neither when I'm switching switch 5 times, neither after that procedure, thus after that procedure everything keeps the same.
Using an electrician screwdriver, after L and N connected, I have power on L, L1 and on SW when switch is on, but I never get power on O.
Also no shelly AP is available in the wifi list of my smartphone.
