I could find 2 posts which refer to a shutter relay. I tried to find it but was unsuccessful.

I also could not find a US equivalent of this.

Hello there,

I'm a novice with very minimal electrical knowledge.

I'm trying to control my roller blinds with a 12VDC motor (2 wire).

The idea was to wire it as shown in Pic 1 or Pic 2 (attached).

But when i tried to read the voltage between O1 and O2, it reads in miliVolts.

Would I need a external power source to convert 110VAC to 12VDC to run the motor? How would the wiring look like for such an arrangement?
