I have 3 of them. All the same problem. Batteries last only 1 month. Unfortunately I had to remove all of them and replaced them with a way more reliable sensor (ZigBee).
I love Shelly devices but battery powered wifi devices are (will never be) reliable.
afaik, there is no mqtt subscriber option in the current firmware. You always could do it without mqtt and call the api directly from one switch to the other.
Thanks for the overwhelming replies (not) but I solved the problem kind of.
Since a factory reset didn't help I did a reflash with the recovery image. From there upgraded to the latest and I worked again.
The only disadvantage of using the recovery image is that the deviceID is changed to half the length of what is was. By hard setting the mqtt topic the original topic could be reused.
Hi all,
On my shelly-1 (v3) the webui stopped working (see attached picture). Even after a reset I am unable to change settings.
The unit was only about 4 weeks in use.
Is there a solution for this issue?
