Why this can't be changed? It would be super useful if you could change that name.
The use case is super simple: You set up 20 devices. It would be easier to access the web UI knowing the hostname (looking at the router) instead of guessing the IP or looking in excel or piece of paper.

I'm looking for exact same thing. I need to extend the range. So instead of using external antenna with Shelly 1PM I want to try to flash Wemos D1 Pro with Shelly firmware. Any ideas what pins I can use? What pins are used in Shelly?
