I have now 1 Pro 3EM , working just fine , next week the solar panels will be installed. Just wondering If I buy a second Pro3EM , and put them on the 3 phases of the solarpanels , so I know what is coming in and what is used . Or doesn't it work like that??
I will get an app where I can monitor the PV -stuff , but I would like to have it in my home automation as well..
I have installed a Shelly pro 3EM. In the near future I will be getting photovoltaic panels on my house (10KWp , 3 phase) .
The manual of the Shelly pro3EM says it is "ready" for photovoltaic.
What can I do with this? , measure how much energy is brought in by the photovoltaic panels on each phase , just like now how much energy is used by all electronics? .
I guess I have to buy a separate one for the photovoltaic system?
Does it need to be connected to the other one for example , or are there special settings?
I have installed a Shelly pro 3EM and it is working fine, On the Shelly APP I see a lot of data and I would like to have this data also in my homeseer (HS4) system. I am usiing MQTT to get all he data from Shelly.
Can someone help me understanding which topics/data is what?
Especially I am looking for KWh (totall for the 3 phases) and to know how to interpret this data , is it reset everyday at 00:00 for example?
Here are all the topics broadcasted which are "unidentified":
I have ordered some new Unis, waiting for delivery.
In the meantime I also received word from support how to connect , and it is completely the opposite.
In this thread it is said:
-connect pin 7 or 8 to one pin of the switch , the other side of the switch to the + of the 12V DC which also powers the UNI, in that case I would have a status change when I press the button.
Support is saying:
Zitat
My question last week :
On the picture of the manuel it says , connect wire 7 or 8 to the switch.
It is unclear where to connect the other side of the switch. I would assume GND , but before I do so , I would like to confirm. I have wired the UNI to a 12V DC power source.
Answer I received just now from support:
Yes, you are correct. Also the reed switch should work on both ways (1 and 2 )
-That is the complete opposite: Connect pin 7 or 8 to one side of the switch and the other side of the switch to the - of the 12V DC power supply.
Now I don't know what to do.
Do you also have access to the ticket system? this is the ticket number: #T-20043426
Got a bigger issue now. I am unable to contact the UNI. I am trying to reset the device (pressing the reset button and than apply the power), but nothing , the led light stays on.
I also noticed the chip below the led is getting extremely hot.
Is this device toast, or can I do something else.?
Ah, I see , inputs and outputs are coupled. Good to know ( maybe that can be written in the manual with a next update).
But unfortunately no luck here, I can toggle the outputs channel 1 and 2 via the GUI in a webbrowser. But I can not toggle channel 1 /2 via the inputs.
Attached a photo. The switch/button I removed for the moment for testing purposes. Pin 7 (light brown) is directly connected to the + from the 12V DC.
I also tried with Pin 8 ( brown) , directly connected to the + from 12V DC.
There is no change in the state of the channel 1 or channel 2.
I do have Channels 1 & 2 , but those are the outputs , they are working fine. I am talking about the inputs.
I connected a small led to output/relay 1 and when I press the button on then GUI in the webbrowser the light goes on, that part is working fine.
The question is for the input. I expect , that when I press the switch/button (Pin 7 is than connected to the + of the 12VDC ) something happens on the GUI.
Or are you saying the input (pin7) is internally wired to the output relay 1 ?
