MIHO : Thx, I figured. I understand they problably had battery life issue, but to some extend I would leave the choice to the user.
Default : threshold mode : ie. if TEmp moves by 0.5 or more, wake up.
Forced by user : wake up every x hours, which they had implemented anyway.
Some users may be ready to change the battery every 3 months to get more readings.. User choice.
I imagine (actually I hope) that if the Shelly T&H is supplied with power, I do get readings every 10min ?

I just purchased a shelly H&T. I'm on the latest version 1.8.0.
I was hoping to have the ability to set the frequency of the wakeups/reports, and this is what I can read in the manual.
"Send Status Period: Define the period (in hours), in which
Shelly H&T will report its’ status. Possible range: 1 ~ 24 h."
I can't find this parameter, neither on the shelly app or by connecting directly to the webserver of the device.
Currently I get a reading of the TEmperature every.. 6 or 8 hours.
I'm on battery.
I'm quite disappointed.
I have an aqara temp sensor (as well) and I get very frequent readings and nice graphs showing me small temp differences.
