- Shelly Typ: 1PM
- Device Mode (if Shelly Type is Shelly 2.5 )
Firmware Version:1.8.3, 1.9.2, 1.9.3rc5
- Router or AccessPoint: Unifi AP AC Pro + Unifi UDM
- Static IP or DHCP: Static IP
My device always connects after cutting the power and bringing it back. But, as soon as i turn on the device ONCE it disconnects. The device is used without any switch.
Interesting is that when i disconnect the load (only N+L1 connected) i don't have this disconnect problem.
I've now replaced it with a Dimmer 2 and that works as expected reporting a load of 8W (still no switch attached).

I'd say that we might have two different problems.
Regarding my progress. After running 1.8.3 for two days i found it to have many bugs such as not responding to commands from my momentary switch so i decided do install 1.9.0 that just had been released.
And it all works fine, no problems with spontaneous off.
If the problem was solved by installing 1.9.0 or if it was because of my upgrade path (1.7.2 -> 1.8.0 -> 1.8.3-> 1.9.0), i can't tell.
Anyway, i'm happy now!

After another week, 1.8.0 has been running without any problems on 3 different dimmers.
I've now updated to 1.8.3.
-
I also had no problems running 1.7.2 for a week.
I've now upgraded to 1.8.0 (for some reason.....)
I'll update this thread later on based on the outcome of this test.

Thanks,
I've done that and it's now working.
I actually connected to the device with
<ip>/longifyid
which made the id long
Maybe this might help someone else with the same problem. I'm unware if they removed my device from the cloud or if the command was the only thing that solved the problem.

I just bought a Shelly Flood device and now i'm getting "Shelly device is already owned by another User"
Is there any long id patch fw for this device (i'm running version 1.8.0)?

I have now downgraded down do 1.7.2
So far so good (only been running for an hour so i can't say for sure yet)
