After some more searching, it appears that the fault is with the Sonoff button. The SNZB-01 supports direct binding while the SNZB-01P does not.

Hello,
I'm trying to directly bind a Sonoff SNZB-01P zigbee button to two outlets of a shelly power strip in HA using ZHA.
The group is created, the outlets are added to the group, the button is bound to the group OnOff input (I press the button to get it to wake up an complete the binding). But nothing happens. I can see the button presses in HA and I can control the shelly power strip via HA.
Is direct binding supported? Do I need to do anything on the shelly strip when setting up the zigbee group?
Thanks!

Thanks for the idea!
Unfortunately my power strip cannot run wifi and zigbee in parallel. But I was able to turn on AP mode (by holding buttons 1 and 4 pressed for 5 seconds) and connect to the strip's web jnterface to disable the LEDs. Then turned zigbee back on which immediately disabled wifi. But the LEDs are off.
I guess I'll need to do this to update the firmware in the future.

The power strip is part of a zigbee network managed by Home Assistant. I don't know how I would access it from the shelly app without switching back to wifi mode.

Hello,
Any idea how I can disable the LED on the gen 4 Power strip when using Zigbee? I didn't find anything in the documentation and I don't need the LEDs at all.
Thanks!
