ckoeber83 Thank you very much for the firmware. It works like a charm.

    1. I downgraded to 2.4.4.
    2. Clicked on HA.
    3. It showed a message that the device was not ready for HA and needed to download an 80 MB package (this message didn’t appear after updating to 2.5.1, so maybe that package was missing).
    4. Downloaded the package.
    5. Restarted the device.
    6. HA installation started working (no login required since I had already set it as a trusted device yesterday).
    7. Updated to 2.5.2.
    8. Still working fine.

I would really appreciate it if Shelly publicly shared all the old firmware versions.
That way, I could have done these steps yesterday and saved many hours trying to find a workaround.

Once again very very very thanks to ckoeber83

nothing happens if you tap here twice?

Der Inhalt kann nicht angezeigt werden, da Sie keine Berechtigung haben, diesen Inhalt zu sehen.

Nothing happens, only the progress bar at the bottom is visible for short time .. .so the refresh is done. But the white screen with logo remains. Also refreshed it many times yesterday by swiping down the top panel and calling the refresh button. Resterting it. Removing HA restarting, adding it back restarting etc. Trust me.. spend many hours to resolve it :-) .. unfortunatelly without success.

    medrickymartin ,

All my X1s are from November last year and they work. My X2 from August this year also works. 👍🏻
Can you try to delete/deactivate home assistant from WD and reattach it manual w/o discovery?

Writing it in my original post here: HomeAssistant do not work since 2.5.1 update

Did this many times with many variations. No - will not help it. I have also device installed before weeks, works great with latest update.

The issue is related to unboxed device which did not run HA before and HA is set after the device update.

I have tested myself on 2.5.1 and 2.5.2. Both FW versions are working with fresh HA-login and HA is still slow on X1 & X2 😉.
What is the issue? (screenshot pls).

But was it first ever attempt to use HomeAssitant? My device where HA was set in previous version (2.4.4) is also working with new FW version. But another three new devices which were just unpacked from the box, turned on, updated to 2.5.1 and then set HA for the first time does not work with HA .. only white screen with logo. No restarts, refreshes will not help.

So on these new devices on the HA part you will see always only this:

Der Inhalt kann nicht angezeigt werden, da Sie keine Berechtigung haben, diesen Inhalt zu sehen.

Refreshed it many times, restarted, and restored to defaults — nothing helps. It only shows a white screen with the HA logo.

Just one additional note: when I installed my first device a few weeks ago, I remember that it first updated to version 2.4.4, then I added the HA URL and enabled HA, and it required an additional update afterward. However, when installing the new device yesterday, this additional update after enabling HA did not appear.

Maybe it’s relevant, maybe not — but I tried many things yesterday and nothing worked. I also added the display’s IP address as a trusted device so that access should be allowed without login, but that didn’t help either. It always shows only the white screen with the HA logo.

    Hi everyone,

I bought one Shelly Wall Display about a month ago for testing and setup with Home Assistant. At that time I have updated to latest firmware 2.4.4 (if I remember correctly).
When I first opened the Home Assistant page on it, everything worked perfectly — the login prompt appeared, I entered my credentials, and the dashboard loaded fine.

Yesterday, I installed three more Wall Displays and updated them all to the latest firmware 2.5.1 — and I really shouldn’t have done that.
Now, Home Assistant no longer loads properly on these new devices:

    • It only shows a white page with the Home Assistant logo,
    • The login prompt never appears,
    • And it seems impossible to downgrade the firmware.

So right now, I have three brand new displays that are useless, because I can’t get Home Assistant to show up.
Interestingly, my original display that I first set up on 2.4.4 and later upgraded to 2.5.1 still works fine.

Shelly is there a possibiility to download or downgrade firmware versions manually?

Has anyone found a workaround to make Home Assistant work again on FW 2.5.1, or knows where to get and install the older 2.4.4 firmware?

    Any help would be appreciated!
