No, I don't need the repeater activated, only during the initial setup in case I can't get the Shelly to connect to the existing network ( they are going to be installed in a school ) and I need to access it to make changes.

This Shelly is the same one at the beginning of the thread. I don't know why but I turned it off and when I turned it on again it never gave the internal temperature reading of 65 degrees.

It can be seen that what increases the internal temperature a lot is having the access point active.

Updating the firmware has almost no influence on the temperature

I have done the same tests with a Shelly GEN 2 and the result of activating access point is even worse, here are the results

In other Shelly's I already uploaded the latest firmware and I couldn't reduce the temperature
