Thank you for your answers tvbshelly and thgoebel! I finally understood how it works 😀
Then, going back to my original question (correcting the live wire in A, B and C). Is it correct now?
I think your choice of words does not match the drawing. I can only see 1 phase there, so to be on the safe side:
Is your installation single-phase or 3-phase?
It is true, sorry for my erroneous wording, I mixed 3-"phase" (120º power signals) with "phase"/neutral wiring. I have a single-phase supply at home, but I would like to measure currents at different points of the same live wire.
ZitatNo. Your sketch depicts a one-phase system with three points of measurement. Thus, each voltage terminal of Shelly pro 3EM has to be supplied with the (one) live voltage. Otherwise, channels A and B don’t give power and voltage figures.
If I supply A, B and C with the same live wire voltage, would it work like this?
Sorry for being so lost, but I found almost no documentation or examples with installation guides and examples.
Thank you thgoebel for the quick response!
What you suggest is that I leave out the other two measurable phases of A and B, and only measure one phase and current with C. Did I understand it correctly?
Is it then not possible somehow to use phases A and B connected to the same live wire of C? I cannot think of any practical connection for this.
Thank you
Hello,
I would like to install the Pro 3EM device as I depict in this schematic. Could you please tell me if it is correct and safe?
Many thanks in advance
