I know that in the shelly smoke should not be tested by open fire (according to the manual), but just out of curiosity I tried with couple of matches, and alarm does not activates, also on web interface smoke entity was always off, there was plenty of smoke near the sensor so I dont think so that there was not enough smoke to trigger the alarm.

So where could be an issue here? Has anyone tried to test them in real life, not only by button? I know that maybe I did not manage to produce lot of heat near the sensor, but smoke alone should be enough. Whats the point of the alarm if already all house is on fire?

Okay! I just now realised, that at first in home page you need to change input state to "button" instead of "switch" and only when you can create an action where you can choose all these options.

Hi, I am wiring shelly 1 plus relay to 24v power supply to control my LED strip without external switch. Do not have lot knowledge with wiring so i want to double check with you guys. See my wiring below and give me your opinions if this is right, thank you.
