Correct its not actually there I was hoping for a software only miracle

So this is the issue I feared...

When you say wiring of the add-on, does it mean there is another hardware addon to be added to the Shelly?

Where do I buy this add-on and is there a guide how to do the wiring?

Hi horkatz thanks for your reply! I honestly don't know as it was done by an electrician.

Attached the pictures of the installation.

There are 2x Shelly 1 Plus; 1x for the small gate and 1x for the big gate.

Screenshots above are for the big gate.

Let me know if you need any more information? I can ask the electrician to come back and make changes if required.

Hi all,

I searched for all the threads here on the same subject.

My assumption is that I need to attach something else to the shelly to let it know when the garage is closed or not? Please confirm if the case.

However I am hoping this can be fixed from the software side.

Below the settings how its setup now.

The gate itself opens and works perfectly. Unfortunately its showing as 'open' below while its closed.

Inverting will not help as the timer will automatically put the state back to where it was.

If this cannot be fixed with software would be great if you can send me a link what I need to change in the hardware.
