Still it's weird that for electrical device this information is not in the manual. It definitely should be as I think Europe is not the only place to do insulation resistance tests and either way it should at least be in the European manuals.

Measuring between neutral wire and live wire with 500V DC would affect a lot of appliances which are plugged in and switched on. Theoretically and practically. Please inform yourself how this measurement is done!
I sure know how it's done. I've been doing this line of work for a long time, and that is why I'm asking can it handle the test. Usually all devices are removed, but does Shelly need to be?

I mean that's highly theoretical. If you measure it against N, it is in earth potential as they are linked. So in practice you could break it, even if in theory you can't.

So I assume, if it can't handle it, it's covered under warranty?
Usually this kind of information is mensioned in datasheet and manual, but that's not the case with Shelly for some reason.

In Europe it's a standard to test insulation resistance for electrical installations with 500 V DC for live conductors. I didn't find in the manual, can Shelly devices handle that or do they need to be remove before the test?
