Same issue for me. I have several shelly devices with no problem at all. This is my first dimmer device and its behaviour is for me as explained by raidboy. Device is reacheble and actionable through web inferface http://<shellyip>/ but the app does not recognizes it, neither scanning or adding by IP ( getting the "Not a recognized Shelly device" )
The deviceid length is a long number ( lot more than 6 )
Any ideas about?
