    Hi, I hope someone can help explain whether this is possible to achieve, and if so, how it should be wired (see drawing)?

    Short explanation:

    • A Temp Add-On mounted on a Shelly 1 should measure the water temperature in a fish tank
    • I want to provide power to the Shelly 1 by connecting a power plug and plugging it into a wall outlet (for testing purposes, I have wired it this way connecting the two leads from the power plug to N and L, which works)
    • Next, I want to use the Shelly to turn on/off power to a circuit with a wall outlet (into which the lights to the fish tank will be plugged in)

    I tried this using a wiring diagram I found, see below, but that just blew the fuse...
