Good morning all,
new to this forum and after going through a lot of topics, I would like to ask you for help ...
as the title suggests, i would like to add a shelly dimmer 2 to my outdoor motion detector installation.
the goal being to let the detector act as a switch but also take the hand with the shelly to turn on or off as desired. the main reason was to prevent the detector from working after a certain time very late at night.
the installation went well. I connected the shelly with the neutral. and I plugged in the detector like a switch.
the shelly works. not the detector ...
problems:
-Does the detector need 220V? I thought so, so I plugged neutral into the detector as well.
-Is there a configuration of the shelly in its settings? I do not know?
-Is my installation possible?
an idea? maybe you have to leave the motion detector plugged in, that is to say stand-alone, and plug in the shelly instead of the lamp that the detector should illuminate? see shema attached

or must I put the shelly so that the detection works, so that I can turn on the light from my shelly application and that shelly cuts the power to the detector, so that it can no longer turn on the lamp ...
