Giving up on my shelly 1

    Hello

    I took me a whole day to get things working correctly, but unfortunately, it is not working as it should

    By the way, i am an electrical engineer with lots of years of experience in both software and hardware.

    During my career, I commissioned fairly sophisticated software solutions and hardware design.

    I can get the device discovered, but I cannot create a room (I also cannot see a picture, and the function to upload the picture simply does not work!, whether you take a new picture or choose from the photo library).

    I can control the device from the URL and even upload new firmware. The button type is set to toggle.

    I try to add the device (ignoring the picture, which also does not work on the screen), the system shows LOADING PREPARING DEVICE and this message stays forever.

    Using shelly cloud, i can define a room, but cannot detect a device, i used https://my.shelly.cloud/#wifi_batch_update which can see my network, however, no device is detected

    I am giving up on this piece of junk

    For me, 74 of these "piece of junk" work without any problems and I'm not alone with that. ;)

    and you could define a room for all of them, you must be one hell of a lucky guy. Let me guess! you work for Shelly

    I started my home automation in 2015 with Homematic. Since my first Shelly 1 and many tests to work with both systems, i baught 3 Homematic.elements and the 74 shelly.
