I have a use case that requires hot air to be extracted from a space using an inline extractor fan. I have not selected the fan yet so don't know the exact power specifications for it. However, it will be a 150mm (6'') unit that can move up to ~400 CFM and can operate at variable speeds.
My aim is to be able to control the fan on/off state, as well as variable speed settings, based on the temperature in the space. Ideally this would make use of the Shelly H/T sensor to first measure the temperature and then control the fan. I know that I can get the fan to turn on this way using a Shelly H/T, a Shelly 1 and Home Assistant (probably also just through Shelly Cloud as well but I'm not sure as it is not my preferred method for this).
My question then is would it be possible to use a Shelly Dimmer 2 for this to enable control over the variable speeds as well? If not, is there another Shelly device that I should use for this use case? Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
