Have been enjoying my Shelly1's so far have automated outdoor string lights, the garage door and the computer.
The sting lights were tough though. The box was old/small and the live wireres were already two as another outlet was paralleled to the switch.
So, I needed to add three pigtails to the existing double live. This required very awkward twisting and the world's largest wire nut. Between the Nut (for neutral also) and the Shelly1 and the switch it was very tight in the box and required more pushing than is really desirable.
It made me wonder if anyone makes pre-crimped pigtails that are super low profile to fit easily in small spaces. I have seen the lever type wire.connectors that are a bit lower profile but if there were no connector at all, i.e. three wires crimped and covered in pvc that would be the smallest yet.
Anyone ever seen such a thing? Could be a nice accessory to add to the Shelly1 package as a "+"
