Controlling a 12V DC linear actuator?

    Hello,

    how can I control a 12V DC linear actuator? It's like a shutter: ON - OFF - REVERSE, that is: +12v opens, -12V (reverse polarity) closes.

    The wiring diagram for the Shelly 2.5 indicates that in shutter mode the voltage is 110V-240V AC?

    Maybe I will need a 24v to 12v adapter for the 2.5?

    Could anyone draw a wiring diagram to use a Shelly product with a 12V motor (linear actuator in my case)?

    I was also thinking maybe I could use two Shelly 1? One for opening and one for closing (reversing polarity), both at 12v?

    Hi @gsucci , welcome to the forum. :)

    Instead of the motor, you could control 2 relays with the Shelly in roller mode.

    You then switch the DC voltage with the contacts of the relay.

    It's just an idea.

    You shouldn't take Shelly 1, the lock is missing.

    @gsucci this should do the job. Wiring diagram only available on German connection charts
