Fused spur to shelly 1 to wall light with switch

    UK user/wiring

    Thanks for letting me join after purchasing my first shelly products. I also have 3 more shellys and a shelly EM.

    I have a shelly1 that I have connected from a fused spur switch to a lamp that has a switch on it.

    I have the shelly 1 wired up from the fused spur and it works great. I can turn it on and off from the shelly app and if I turn the fused spur off, it turns off the shelly.

    What I cant do is turn the lamp on or off from the switch on the lamp.... is there a way ?

    I have my fused spur in to Live and Neutral

    I have a loop/jumper between I and Live

    I have my light in 0 and Neutral

    Thanks for that. Its wired exactly like images that but nothing coming out of switch as the lamp doesnt offer a cable for the switch (it must be internal). The lamp only offers a blue and brown cable.

    If you want the option to manually switch on and off your lamp both at the lamp and at the wall switch, and if the lamp switch isn’t accessible for you to re-wire it to the Shelly, you could use a Shelly Button with your Shelly 1 in it, directly in the cable close to the lamp, and add a Shelly i3 to your wall switch, where your Shelly is currently installed. The actual switch is then at the lamp (Shelly 1), and the Shelly i3 transmits prompts to switch on or off to the Shelly 1 if you hit the wall switch.
