"Error 1" with Shelly Dimmer 2

    Hi,

    I recently installed several dimmers. I have 1st and with my last order i got the 2nd generation as well.

    With one of the Dimmers (2nd gen) i am experiencing problems, getting "Error 1" when switching on.

    When this occurs, the dimmer switches off. Next press on the button will switch on again, then no problem and lights stay on.

    I've upgraded to last firmware, dimmer is connected to Neutral, connected lights are 4x 4W Philips CorePro Led spots. I also have 5 of these spots with a Shelly Dimmer (1st gen) as well, working without a problem. Calibrated, changed leading to trailing edge, calibrated over and over... problem remains.

    It's not consistent, in other words, this doesn't happen all the time. It happens with the momentary switch but also through the UI.

    Tons of issues with this for me and others, and not a clear answer from Allterco. Supposedly there is a new firmware coming out (this week?) that may help; if not I may be returning these things as I've messed with it enough.

    I had this issue and could see the unit was going over temperature and generating Error 1. I raised a ticket but found that calibrating as Trailing Edge fixed it. Bit scary seeing the temperature Sky rocket to 95 Deg C in seconds when dimming!
