In Home assistant I have made a few automations which are activated by Shelly 1 and 2.5 switch inputs. After updating my Shellys to 1.8.0, I don't get switch inputs anymore. So I went back to 1.6.0.
Does anyone know why 1.8.0 is not working?

because the firmware 1.8 has a new Coap protocol, so the developers from your home assistant system need to update too
did you use ShellyForHass ? from 1.8 firmware HASSIO integrations supports shelly with some limitations (flood sensor doesn't work well)
I'll stick with MQTT unless the native integration will be more stable and supports longpush.
i suggest you switch to mqtt and turn off shelly cloud.
MQTT is still running after any update or change and makes me no problem ![]()
I'm not saying ShellyCloud is not good
@jakkarcrux how do you use longpush (or double click) with MQTT?
