future without the Shelly Cloud/Home app?

    I notice Shelly seems to be moving over to Z-wave.
    E.g. there are only 240 V dimmers available with Z-wave.
    Does it mean in the future we will not be able to use the Shelly Cloud/Home app?

    Verwendung wenn möglich von Off-Cloud-Geräten wie Shelly (Cover, H&T, ...), NUOS Tasmota, Velux, Nuki, Ecowitt (Weatherstation), aber auch Cloud-Geräten wie Anker Solix (BKW), Husquarna (Rasenmäherroboter) und Roborock (Staubsaugerroboter).
    Alles zentral gesteuert durch Home Assistant.

    Why do you think that? Shelly also has Z-Wave in its product portfolio.

    The current new Gen4 devices now have Zigbee on board, so Shelly is trying to position itself more broadly in the market.

    I received a promotionl email from Shelly and by clicking the link, I entered their online store.
    In that store, the only dimmer available (non-professional) was:
    Shelly Wave Dimmer

    Apparently, the link was not for the whole store because by double checking, I discovered that luckily there is still a gen3 dimmer as borsti0 points out.
