    I've read and tried all the posted suggestions for WIFI connection issues, but they didn't fix the connection. In my case I had to change my router channel from auto to a fixed one (I used 9). This worked immediately. The problem was that the access point was on channel 3, which was the same channel that the auto setting was using. Despite the access point being disabled, it still prevented the device from being connected in the cloud.
