Is there a shelly for connecting to ethernet and can create local wifi? (Not a fuse like Pro 1PM).

    I need the local Wifi to connect to a Shelly 1PM with temperature monitoring in an area I can't reach with wifi. (In a swimming pool pump house where I measure the temperature of the water before and after the heat pump as well as in the air.)

    I have ethernet there, but the Shelly 1PM needs Wifi. Therefore, the need is either something similar to the Shelly 1PM with temperature measurement for ethernet or another ethernet Shelly unit that can give me local wifi.

    I am aware that the Shelly Pro 1PM and similar can do this, but it will be quite expensive with electricians etc.

    Only the PRO series Shellys have a LAN connection.

    By the way: The Pro 1PM is not like a fuse, but a relay. Or do you mean the shape of the housing?

    If you need the measurements on the fly, you may use the internal Access Point of a Shelly 1 PM generation 2+.

    But if you want to store the measurents values, I may have a solution for you, based on a script. This script stores many values into its non volatile storage and you may take it to your home for reading this values. Alternatively you may use a MQTT transfer over your smartphones hotspot without replacing the Shelly, if you use a MQTT subscriber at home.

    Btw, my solution via script may be used with a smartphone directly reading the stored values. I've created this script for using MQTT, but it may be used without MQTT.

    Thanks, but sorry it is to bad that there is no such solution. Something for Shelly in the future?

    Man kann auch einfach einen kleinen Accesspoint nehmen, wenn dort eh Strom und Netzwerk liegt.

    Die Pro Serie könnte einen Accesspoint aufspannen, an dem sich der Shelly 1PM anmelden könnte.

    Wüsste man mehr um die Umgebung, dann könnte man besser helfen.
