lights come on then go out right away

    Hi I have recently purchased 4 shelly 2 dimmers. I set one up to turn on 3 led down lights. the switch is 2 wire. so I followed the instructions for the wiring. I have done a firmware upgrade. also the led down lights are smart lights from aldi, so extremely cheap.

    when turning on the lights they turn them selves off immediately.

    I have done a search on here, most threads talk about flashing leds not switching off entirely. I am able to change the wiring to a 3 wire arrangement if this will help.

    You simply can't use "smart" lights behind a dimmer output. Smart lights need to be connected to a permanent supply. Smart lights should have their own app or controller unit. Maybe you can name the type of smart lamps you use.

    Thanks for your quick reply, so i cant use them even if I am not using them as smart lights? as in all the smarts are done by the shelly?
